The books are getting close to the warehouse! Is your address correct on Backerkit?

Hey everyone!

Everything should be arriving at the warehouse later this week, meaning that fulfillment can start soon (if not immediately) after! That means it's time for you to double/triple check your address as it's written on Backerkit!

Your shipping information

Remember that you can change this up until items being shipping, so take the couple of minutes now and check on it now!

• Just log into Backerkit using the credentials you did before. Backerkit uses the same email address to log in as your Kickstarter account does, unless you've changed it on Backerkit since then. For 99% of you, this won't be an issue.
• If you have trouble, pull up the earlier survey emails you received from Backerkit and use the link there to sign in.
• From there you'll be able to see this project and your information as I see it. Make sure it's accurate!

I really don't want to manually change any of your details because that introduces a new opportunity for human error, especially if you're outside of the USA and format your addresses differently than I'm familiar with. So please do your best to verify and change it on your own first before sending me a message asking to do it for you!

I'll post another update when I'm less than 24 hours from locking addresses (meaning you won't be able to change them anymore). But, like I said, just take the few moments now to do it and save yourself the panic later!

Tracking Numbers

You will receive a tracking number when your parcel(s) are shipped! If you ordered anything from the Deck of Many, those will also begin shipping at the same time that your Kickstarter rewards do. They're shipping from different locations (thousands of miles apart), so it won't be unusual to have there be differences in arrival times if you ordered from multiple sources!

Hey adventurers! Thank you, as always, for your patience!

I wanted to share some updates on the book tracking and final shipping dates. The books are just now arriving on US soil, but now have to travel across the country to the warehouse and fulfillment center in Washington state. The current estimated arrival date at the center is January 7th, after which shipping should promptly start!

It's a bummer that these weren't in your hands by the holidays, but I'm sure that the quality control was worth it! Besides, this way we get to ring in the new year together with your rewards!

Thank you again, everyone, for all of your support and patience. If you've moved, please make sure to update your shipping details on Backerkitbefore shipping starts in January! If you haven't moved, don't worry about it: you're all set to go!

Confirmation that the books are en route, and the Ledger+ is now at v1.0!

Hey everyone!

I just heard from the printers that the books have been picked up by FedEx and are now on their long journey overseas to the warehouse in Washington state. This was pretty prompt, actually, which is a good sign!

This is the part that gets weird with timing: I've told you that I was hoping to have books start shipping by the end of this month, but given the time that it takes to travel overseas like this, that doesn't look feasible right now. It's been frustrating for me, and I'm sure for you as well, being done with the book only to be delayed by quality control, production time, and now shipping. I did inquire about shipping via air, but it turned out to be unquestionably prohibitive.

So, we have to expect for it to take 28-47 days in order to reach the warehouse. But given that FedEx has been prompt with the order so far, I'm choosing to be optimistic.

However! I'm comforted with the knowledge that you all have PDFs, so I hope you can continue to be patient with these shipping dates. As always, you can update your shipping address in Backerkit up until fulfillment (by White Squirrel) starts. I'll be sure to keep you all updated for when that's about to start.

Speaking of other things you all have!

In other news, the Ledger+, which many of you have been enjoying, is now at its version 1.0 stage! That means that you now can read these item descriptions in their intended card format. If you prefer reading them in the previous modal design, you can do that too! Just toggle the display option at the bottom of your Account menu. More quality of life features are expected to come in the future.

The final piece of this project is also coming together as well: the adventures unlocked by you are going through their editing stages, and from there will just need to be formatted into a PDF.

Deluxe covers fixed and bound! En route to warehouse!

Hey adventurers!

As mentioned in the last update, one of the delaying factors for the project was a bad leatherette color for the deluxe covers. Well, here's a video showing the old cover (the light leather) vs. the new one (dark leather)! This new leather is accurate to the intended color and really has that lux look you want to see!

Thanks again, everyone, for your patience: it's paying off! These should be shipping out ASAP to the warehouse now that they're fixed!

Items en route to the warehouse! Still on track!

Hey folks! Thanks for your patience with getting everything shipped out!

Not much has thrown off projections since the update last month, but:

• Tote bags are in transit to the warehouse.
• Cards are in transit to the warehouse. Some are already there.
• Boxes are in the transit to the warehouse.
• Deluxe covers are finishing up being reprinted/bound, and will be shipped to the warehouse ASAP.
• Everything else is already there and waiting!

So, we're still on track for getting everything to the warehouse by the end of the month. That means you should start seeing things on your doorstep at the very start of December. Remember, until things start shipping, you can always change your address in Backerkit!

By far the largest time suck right now is travel between manufacturers and the warehouse. If anything is going to make this take a little longer, it's unexpected travel delays. Shipping items overseas via freight can take two to three weeks, easily—ugh!—so that's the biggest hurdle left for us.

I promise that I'm doing everything I can to make sure that you're getting the best products possible as quickly as you can! We're in the final stretch now, so thank you again for your patience, enthusiasm, and support!
